First Impressions of Bangkok

Sharp contrast. Weathered and worn. Colorful, vibrant, alive. Sensory overload. Strong wonderful smells of Thai food. Street food, someone is always cooking. So many faces, all with purpose. Busy bees everywhere. Moving, changing, rearranging. Everyone seems to know exactly what they are doing and why. No hesitation or insecurity. Everything moves so fast here, but no one seems stressed or confused or rushed or out of place. This city astounds me, knocks me off my feet. It feels nice to fall, to have my world turned upside down. Appreciation, revelation, beauty.
